World of Maenza: Online Issue #30

Welcome to another issue of my Champions APA.

Sorry for missing out on last issue, gang. It has been a very busy time for me on a lot of fronts. I've been trying to get some stuff in order and that frame of mind is now spilling over into the website for my gaming stuff.

This issue starts with some changes in the layouts for my Team pages (taking a little inspiration from Jack Butler's new page layouts - thanks, Jack!). Click on each team link to see how I've changed those presentations a bit: the Justice Gang, the Protectors, Rough Justice, the Evil Elite, and the Octagon.

And since I was on the renovation kick, I modified my characters page so that it would spawn off unique pages for Heroes, Villains, Teams, etc. This helps me keep things a bit more easy to manage as we move into our 6th year online.

Next, I decided to add a new section called the WOM Encyclopedia, accessible from the left control panel on all main pages. This will provide a reference for the people, places, things and events as they are discussed on character sheets and in fiction here. I've started out by populating the pages with entries for stuff from the first five years of this online APA. More entries to come in the future as I add sheets, fiction, etc.

Finally, I've done up the character sheet for Van Monroe's PC in the Rough Justice campaign - Black Star. Van brought a lot of character background and history to my game world, and I found a nice way to incorporate it what I already had. It worked out very well. The stat sheet includes both the Black Star character from the campaign plus the stats of the previous incarnation of the character as V-Man also on the same webpage.
