Welcome to the Omniverse!!! Former members of the Clobberin' Times APA - those around until the very end - will remember the Omniverse project. This was a shared world, inspired by the ConTinuum shared world project that members had done after one of the San Diego ComicCons. The Omniverse was a bit different in that it was open to any member of the APA who wanted to participate. The idea here was that everyone would have their own fictional city (replacing real world cities) in which they would present fiction or gaming information to the rest of the group. The Omniverse came out three times a year in a special section of the APA, alternating with the ConTinnum project. It lasted for about eight supplements until the APA stopped publishing.
A number of us though had already started making online sites for our cities and
material. As coordinator of the project, I also set up a main web portal to
link to the other cities. And here it is:
My portion of the Omniverse was Victoria City, a reworking of the city of
Atlanta in Georgia (I wanted a southern locale I was familiar with in order
to do my stuff). This would be the place that most of the adventures of my
heroine Lodestone would take place. Here are those links:
I do have plans to return to writing more about Lodestone in the future. Meanwhile, the links above can take you to the stories I had written and published in the APA, as well as give you a little detail about the family, friends, foes and locale in which her stories take place.
