Background: Jake Connors worked as a two-bit thug for a number of super villains, including Professor Muerte. It was then he fell in love with Muerte's creation, Ecstasy. This relationship was deadly from the start and Connors was caught making love to his boss' toy. Muerte would have killed him on the spot but was saved when the security alarms sounded. A hero group was attacking and Connors escaped in the confusion, never looking back.
Jake decided to strike out on his own and hooked up with an inventor who specialized in trick gadgets. Once Jake learned the trade, he fashioned his own shape-based weapons and became the Geometric Man. His first venture as a costumed villain was hardly successful, but it did get him noticed by some villains forming a group called the Octagon. After nearly beating Hydro Girl and Larynx of the Protectors in battle, he was invited to join the villain group. Soon after the group fell apart when he and three others were sacrificed while the four who would become the Evil Elite escaped using his own transportational device. While in Stronghold, he and Timewarp worked up a plan to reform the Octagon with new members. Their first goal after that was teaching the Evil Elite a lesson or two on true villainy. Motivation: He is a typical, second rate villain who, despite good intentions, will always be second rate. His dialogue is littered with shape references and typical "villain" phrases (it comes from hanging around so many big time villains like Muerte). He is very loyal to those who treat him good. He has a very big soft spot for Ecstasy, the synthezoid woman created by Professor Muerte. |
