World of Maenza: Online Issue #23

Welcome to another issue of my Champions APA. Let's get right to it.

Happy 20th Anniversary of the Clobberin' Times! The old paper APA first came out in October of 1988 when a bunch of guys who met at the San Diego Comic-Con decided to create a little publication to celebrate the RPG game they all enjoyed - Champions. I got on board during that first year (with issue 5) and have been a regular ever since. So, let's see what surprises I have in store to celebrate this big milestone event.

First off, one thing we super-hero gamers like is artwork - and I'm no exception. So, I've fired up the old scanner and created a couple new art galleries of pieces I've had since the early days of the paper APA. Check out the new Rough Justice art gallery that goes with my old campaign/new fiction I've been presenting. Also, I created a second Protectors art gallery to compliment the fiction of that team from the online APA during the past couple years. Lastly, I also started a Justice Gang art gallery for my classic hero team. Enjoy checking out the pieces in each.

Oh, and I also added a piece to the third page of the Lodestone art gallery - the piece of with Lodestone and Dream Girl that Mike had done by Eryck Webb and was featured on the cover of the last CTO.

Also this issue, I continue to revisit of my 1989-1991 Rough Justice campaign. On the fiction side, we have "Betrayal" and "The Viper Sting". To go with the story, I have the sheet for the non-player character Trance and villains Scorpio and Lazer. As always, read the stories first to avoid spoilers from the sheets - this time the sheets will reveal major elements from the tales.
