World of Maenza: Online Issue #32
Welcome to another issue of my Champions APA.
This issue of my APA (along with the rest of the current edition of the Clobberin' Times Online) is dedicated to the memory of KC Ryan, our good friend who lost his battle against cancer on August 16th, 2010. He was one of the founding members of the original paper Clobberin' Times APA, and one of the few people who contributed to nearly every issue of that publication along with the online extension. He even served as the Central Mailer for a few years.
I'll start this issue with my Remembering KC Ryan text piece. I'll let it speak for itself.
Also this issue, I am presenting Flamethrower, the youngest member of the Protectors who eventually graduated to the the Justice Gang. An interesting factoid about this character - I created him during my senior year of high school shortly after the birth of one of my cousin's first child (December 1982). The baby boy was actually the first newborn I had ever been around (given that I was the youngest child on both sides of the family). In honor of that, I named this character after him - Matthew Bradley.
