The World of Maenza: Online is the Internet extension of the World of Maenza zine that appeared in The Clobberin' Times APA (Amateur Press Association) from September 1988 to January 2000.

World of Maenza: Online Issue #1

Welcome to the first issue of my online zine dealing with the Champions RPG and my game creations! Here's the table of contents for this issue:

• First off, a little narrative Introduction about how this all came about, where it stemmed from and where its going.

• Keeping with that as sort of a theme for this first issue, I'll be presenting the first portions of my World of Maenza Timeline. More of it will be forthcoming in future issues.

• A reoccuring feature will be an Enemies entry that features one of the villains from my world. For this issue, I'm presenting Zandorok, the evil sorceror.

• Another reoccuring feature will be "Then and Now" which will present one of my classic characters as they first appeared in my original paper APA and then how they currently appear in my gameworld. For this issue, I'm presenting Amazon.

• Lastly, a rewriting of a piece of fiction I first did back in July of 1982 - the Protectors issue 1 which includes the first appearances (in stories I ever did) of the two above characters (albeit their histories show they had prior events for both). I hope to continue to rewrite up my old Protectors stories for the site (as the old ones were pretty weak - I wrote them back in high school).
